The recovery process for the most part is automatic , at the initial stage you will have to select a disk drive this should be the drive letter that corresponds to the drive you wish to recover the office files.
Once the recovery process has started a progress bar will show you the time left , this depends on the size of the drive but should take no more that a few hours for the largest drives.
Please note the application may seem to freeze during scanning and recovering this is completly normal allow the application to finish and do not stop the application , it will for larger drives take up to 4+ hours.
After the recovery process you will be presented with a screen showing the files it will be able to recover
The quick select buttons allow you to select all the photos or you can indidualy select photos by clicking the tick box underneath the photo.
Once you have have selected your documents click recover , if you have not purchased a registration key the program will prompt you to do so to continue
If you have registered the application button will save all your documents to the output directory specified at the start as a default this points to your my documents and as a safety feature you cannot pick your source disk as the recovery device as this is ponentially dangerous to the recovery.

Some recovered files may be corrupt , in recovering files it is not always possible to get a file back if it has been overwritten or the drive was fragmented , if you save two files in the trial and they are corrupt or do not open please try another two files. |
